Case Discussion

Congenital long bone bowing can be a manifestation of a congenital pathological condition and requires a thorough review of other systems. Isolated congenital long bone bowing can be a familial feature with AD inheritance and may improve with age.

Differential diagnosis for long bone bowing:

  1. campomelic dysplasia
  2. osteogenesis imperfecta
  3. kyphomelic dysplasia
  4. proximal focal femoral deficiency
