Presentation

Ankle sprain 4 days ago. X-rays showed no fracture. Unable to walk due to massive pain on weight bearing.

Patient Data

Age: 13 years

Profuse lateral soft tissue hematoma. Fragmentation and signal increase of the anterior tibiofibular ligament. The talofibular ligament seems intact. Minor bleeding along the calcaneofibular ligament.
