Isolated triquetral body fracture

Non-displaced isolated fracture and oedema of the body of the triquetrum bone is present.
Bone oedema of the pisiform and fourth metacarpal bone are also seen.
Radiocarpal joint effusion is is noted.
Case Discussion
Triquetral fractures are the second commonest carpal bone fractures, after the scaphoid. Fractures generally occur through the dorsal surface of the bone rather than the body.
