Pain in distal radius and ulna. History of assault.

Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Male
x-ray

Oblique mildly displaced fracture through the distal ulna shaft. No radial fracture. No dislocation. 

Case Discussion

This injury is also known as a nightstick fracture. Isolated ulna fractures are much rarer than distal radius fractures and often result from direct blows.
