Direct trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Mildly displaced fracture through the ulna midshaft.

No radial fracture.

No dislocation. 

Case Discussion

This injury is also known as a nightstick fracture. Isolated ulna fractures are much rarer than distal radius fractures and often result from direct blows.
