X-ray shows a transverse fracture through the mid-diaphysis of the ulna with 2 mm of lateral displacement but no significant angulation compatible with a nightstick fracture.
Case Discussion
Nightstick fracture is an isolated fracture of the ulna, typically transverse and located in the mid-diaphysis and usually resulting from a direct blow.
