Presentation

Work up for hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

A 30 mm jackstone calculus is present in the pelvis.

ct

A 30 mm jackstone calculus is present in the urinary bladder.

The prostate gland is enlarged. 

The gallbladder is not seen at the anatomical location due to prior resection.

Pneumobilia is present.

Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen in the lumbar spine.

Grade I spondylolisthesis of L4 on L5 is present with bilateral spondylolysis.

Case Discussion

Jackstone calculus is a rare bladder stone with spiculated and stippled edges that resemble the appearance of toy jacks.
