Juvenile hyaline fibromatosis

Presentation

Diffuse abdominal pain and bowel loop distension in a known patient with hyaline fibromatosis.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years.
Gender: Female
CT

Known patient of hyaline fibromatosis showing severe kyphoscoliosis and deformity of the spine. Distorted normal anatomy and locations. Both hip joint acetabular complexes appear deformed showed marked osteoarthropathy with surrounding coarse ossifications. Multiple muscular and subcutaneous calcific foci are seen along both gluteal regions, lower pelvic walls and posterior chest wall. Multiple gall bladder stones noted.

Case Discussion

The patient is known to have juvenile hyaline fibromatosis with kyphoscoliosis.
