An X-ray scout demonstrate reversed cardiac apex with elevated left hemidiaphragm
Situs inversus manifests with reversed position of the cardiac apex, aortic arch, liver and spleen associated with localized cylindrical bronchiectatic changes seen at the lingula of the left lung... suggestive of Kartagener syndrome.
Case Discussion
CT images demonstrate typical findings of Kartagener syndrome. A situs abnormality together with lingular bronchiectasis should raise the diagnosis of the syndrome.
