Presentation

Long-standing right leg swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 7 years
Gender: Male
mri

Marked right thigh swelling with abnormal subcutaneous hypertrophy and abnormality of vascular channels with T2 hyperintensity and contrast enhancement.

Case Discussion

This is a case of Kasabach–Merritt syndrome - a rare complication of kaposiform hemangioendotheliomas and tufted angiomas.
