A 25 year old female with wrist pain.

Patient Data

Age: 25
Gender: Female

The lunate bone is collapsed and displays low signal intensity in all sequences.

There is negative ulnar variance in the scanned position.

There is Intact traingular fibrocartilage.

Case Discussion

Avascular necrosis of the lunate bone (Kienbock disease).
