The lunate bone is collapsed associated with a fracture line with sclerosed borders through the midpole.

The other carpal bones are unremarkable with no evidence of osteoarthritis.

Case Discussion

Findings are compatible with Kienböck disease, a type of osteonecrosis that involves the lunate.
