- retropharynx
- intra-sellar
- intra-sphenoid
- within sphenoid sinuses
- within sphenoid bones
Significance of kissing carotids:
- May mimic intra-sellar pathology
- Catastrophic if unknown or unreported before transsphenoidal surgery / approach
As such they should be reported.
