Twisting injury.

Patient Data

Age: 20
Gender: Male
X-ray

Small to moderate sized knee joint effusion. Borderline deepening of the lateral femoral notch. Oedema seen within the deep aspect of Hoffa's fat pad. No fracture seen. Appearance suspicious for internal derangement, especially ACL tear, which could be assessed with MRI.
