Kohler disease

A few weeks of on-and-off right foot pain.

Patient Data

Age: 4 years
Gender: Male

The navicular is collapsed and sclerotic. Overlying dorsal soft tissue swelling. No other abnormality. 


Comparison x-ray of the left foot shows a normal navicular. 

Case Discussion

Kohler disease refers to avascular necrosis of the navicular.
