- Irregular mural thickening in the distal part of the gastric body and gastric antrum
- few small regional lymph nodes
- significant ascites
- large, well-defined, complex mass lesions with heterogeneous enhancement in the right and left ovaries.
- bilateral pleural effusions
Case Discussion
This is a biopsy proven adenocarcinoma of the stomach. The presence of ovarian masses in a case of gastric adenocarcinoma represents metastasis to the ovaries, the so-called Krukenberg tumour.
