Increase in the covexity of the thoracic spine noted on the lateral view.

Lateral curvature of the thoracic spine is noted on the AP view; the convexity is to the left.

Case of kyphoscoliosis of the thoracic spine.

The vertebral bodies at the ends of the thoracic spine are not adequately visualized.

The degree of kyphosis increases with age, and the rate of increase is greater in females than in males 1.
