Recurrent dislocations, unstable shoulder.
Patient Data
Shallow Hill Sach's deformity, 12x2mm. No bony glenoid deficiency. The labrum is completely absent between the 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock position and the periosteum is stripped and retracted along the glenoid margin for approximately 10mm. There is minor stripping of the posterior band, inferior glenohumeral ligament. The bony glenoid margin is intact. The biceps tendon is enlocated and biceps labral complex is intact. The subscapularis and supraspinatus tendons are intact. Minimal signal change in infraspinatus tendon at the level of the infraspinatus footplate is consistent with a minor partial articular surface tear. Minimal cystic change beneath the footplate. No regions of bone marrow oedema. The a.c. joint is unremarkable.
Comment Avulsion of the anterior labrum with associated periosteal stripping and retraction. Shallow Hill-Sachs deformity.
