Presentation
Chronic headache.
Patient Data
There is dehiscence of right medial lamina papyracae with prolapse of orbital fat into its ipsilateral ethmoid sinus. Posterior limit - basal lamella. Anterior limit - bulla lamella.
No extraocular muscle entrapment.
Left orbit showed normal CT imaging features.
Other findings: Right trochlear apparatus calcification. Aerated left nasolacrimal duct. Left sphenoid sinus sessile polyp. DNS towards right with small bony spur.
Case Discussion
Right sided lamina papyracea dehiscence with resultant orbital fat prolapse. No extraocular muscle entrapment. Left orbit showed no significant abnormality.
In the absence of a history of trauma, this abnormality is presumably congenital 1.
