An extensive loculated fluid collection with internal air bubbles is present in the pelvis that extends to the right lower quadrant, suggesting a sizable appendicular abscess. The lesion is causing pressure effect on adjacent bowel loops and results in proximal bowel loops distension.
Case Discussion
Regarding the appendicular abscess size, ultrasound-guided percutaneous drainage followed by delayed appendectomy was performed on the patient.
