Large defect is present at right hemidiaphragm accompanied by herniation of right liver lobe, gallbladder, distal portion of stomach, hepatic flexure of colon and some small bowel loops into right hemithorax.
Case Discussion
Large right hemidiaphragm hernia in a patient with history of blunt trauma. Depending on the location and size of the defect retroperitoneal or intra-abdominal organs and tissues can prolapse into thoracic cavity due to the negative intra-thoracic pressure.
