Presentation

Incidental large aneurysm of a ductus diverticulum. First seen 2 years ago on CT. MRA done to assess if PDA.

There is a large aneurysm arising within the ductus diverticulum. There is no patent ductus arteriosus.

Case Discussion

There is a large ductus aneurysm arising from the inferior aspect of the aortic arch measuring 4.3 x 3.7 cm in the expected location of the ductus diverticulum. This lesion was left alone as patient is asymptomatic and there is no patent ductus in the aneurysm.
