Night sweats and recent weight loss.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Large heterogeneous mediastinal mass is seen with vessels encasement. Hepatosplenomegaly also is noted. Also present is ring artefact from detector failure. 

Case Discussion

This is the typical appearance of mediastinal lymphoma, confirmed to be the case: pathology = Hodgkin's lymphoma - nodular sclerosing subtype

The images are degraded due to the presence of ring artefact due to receptor failure.
