Large jugulodigastric lymph node 1.2 x 2.2 cm. Generalized prominence of nodes throughout the anterior chains. Normal morphology, echogenicity, fatty hilum and normal vascularity. No concerning features.

Case Discussion

It is important to recognize that the jugulodigastric lymph node is often large in young children. It will often measure more than 1 cm in short axis. When large, it will often be associated with generalized enlargement of the lymph nodes on the same side of the neck. However, it will retain normal fatty hilum and normal central vascularity.
