Presentation

A young male presented with fever, cough, and dyspnea. Patient with a known history of laryngotracheobronchial papillomatosis.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

CT and Virtual CT bronchoscopy demonstrate well-circumscribed multiple lobulated intraluminal nodular lesions in the larynx, trachea, and bronchi.

There is also cystic bronchiectasis at the left lower lobe with volume loss.

Case Discussion

Laryngotracheobronchial papillomatosis is a disease caused by the Human Papilloma Virus and characterized by the appearance of benign exophytic lesions (papilloma) in any part of the aerodigestive tract.
