Presentation

Pain on lateral aspect of knee - Few days.

Patient Data

Age: 55 - 60 years
Gender: Female

Calcification focus is noted near lateral condyle of femur.

Calcification is noted in proximal end of lateral collateral ligament with local hypervascularity.

Case Discussion

Findings of lateral collateral ligament calcification with local hypervascularity - at the site of tenderness.

Additional finding on MR was discoid lateral meniscus without tear.

Needling under ultrasound guidance was done by orthopedic surgeon.

Post needling radiograph - not available so far.
