Lateral condyle fracture

Age: 4 year old
Gender: Female
CT

A fracture is seen extending though the lateral condyle showing mild bone displacement. 

Case Discussion

Lateral humeral condyle fractures is the second most common paediatric elbow fracture.

The key to correct interpretation of paediatric elbow injuries is an understanding of the order and age at which the various secondary ossification centers of the elbow become visible.
