Lateral elbow pain

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
mri

Partial thickness undersurface tear of common extensor tendon with fluid filled gap measuring approx. 8.8mm in craniocaudal and 10mm in anteroposterior dimensions.

Degeneration / possible partial tears of humeral attachment of lateral collateral and lateral ulnar collateral ligaments is also seen.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with lateral epicondylitis which is the likely cause of pain.
