Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Minimally displaced avulsion fracture of the lateral process of the talus. No malleolar fracture. Lateral ankle soft tissue swelling.

Case Discussion

The lateral talar process is one of the check areas on an ankle series for any patient with lateral pain. Often they are seen in only one of the frontal or oblique views.
