CT scan demonstrates comminuted fractures involving all walls of both maxillary sinuses, with associated fractures through the pterygoid plates, medial and lateral walls of both orbits as well as both zygomatic archs. There is also a depressed fracture of the root of the nose and anterior ethmoids. Right maxillary antrum is completely opacified. Both nasolacrimal ducts are also disrupted.
Case Discussion
Findings of CT are consistent with Le Fort type 3 and naso-ethmoidal fracture.
