The ultrasound images demonstrate a fusiform hypoechoic midsubstance nodule of the central band of the plantar fascia. No internal vascularity seen on the color Doppler.
Case Discussion
The ultrasound features are most consistent with plantar fibromatosis also known as Ledderhose disease.
