Thrombus left atrial appendage with complete SMA occlusion and partial occlusion left renal artery. Prior aortic valve replacement and repair aortic aneurysm.
Case Discussion
The most likely etiology for the SMA occlusion and partial left renal artery occlusion is embolization from the left atrial appendage thrombus. The left atrial appendage and the left ventricular apex are common sites of cardiac thrombus.
