Large opacity projecting over the heart in the medial left lower zone. Cardiac silhouette is not enlarged. Hila are normal. No convincing mediastinal lymphadenopathy.

Large PET-avid mass in the posterior left lower lobe. No evidence of metastatic disease.

The patient proceeded to lower lobectomy and a pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma was confirmed.
