Left MCA infarct with recanalization

Presentation

Right upper limb weakness and aphasia.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Old left MCA infarct. Mismatch MCA left. M2 occlusion
DSA (angiography)
Agitated. Recanalized post iv tPA - no intervention
Reperfused. Small volume scattered infarct.

Thin CT & CTP helps with cta assessment. M2 higher rate of recanalization c.f. MCA and ICA
