Left renal and seminal vesicle agenesis

Presentation

Abdominal pain work up.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

The left kidney is not seen at anatomical location. The right kidney is enlarged and shows compensatory hypertrophy.
Focal thickening is noted at the central aspect of the dome of the urinary bladder with a lineal abnormality extending cranially towards the umbilicus, in favor of vesicourachal diverticulum.
A 29×17mm thin walled out pouching also is observed at left posterolateral aspect to urinary bladder consistent with diverticula.
The left seminal vesicle is note seen at anatomical location and the right seminal vesicle is prominent. The prostate gland is mildly enlarged. 

Case Discussion

Features are compatible with left renal and seminal vesicle agenesis accompanied by vesicourachal diverticulum (urachal remnant) and urinary bladder diverticulum.
