3-day history of fever, cough, rhinorrhea and accessory muscle use on respiration.

Patient Data

Age: 1 year
Gender: Male

There is left upper lobe pneumonia with dense airspace opacities and air bronchograms.

Plain radiograph findings of left upper lobe community-acquired pneumonia in a pediatric patient with increased work of breathing.

The child was admitted to hospital and improved after a course of intravenous antibiotics.
