Presentation

Left flank pain for a few hours, no nausea no vomiting no fever no dysuria no diarrhea, there is a history of renal colic one year back no history of chronic diseases

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Ultrasound scan demonstrates left mild renal hydronephrosis due to ureteric stone in the upper third.

x-ray

Radio opaque shadow measuring about 10.5 mm left side to 2nd lumbar vertebra which presents the ureteric calculus.
