Legionella pneumonia

The chest radiograph shows multiple bilateral airspace opacities. There is also a basal right pleural effusion. Normal cardiac profile.
Case Discussion
Blood culture was negative.
A urinary antigen test with Legionella-Ag was performed with rapid immunofluorescence technique.
The positive result permitted a rapid diagnosis.
