No hydrocephalus.

Case Discussion

Patient denied any trauma prior to blurred vision. Non traumatic causes related to ectopia lentis include systemic disorders such as Marfan syndrome, homocystinuria, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome or infective condition such as syphilis.

Plain CT brain was requested by the primary team in order to rule out any possibility of acute infarction which disrupts the optic pathway. Incidental finding of the ectopia lentis at the edge of images (last axial image) requires radiologist to include eyes/orbits as part of review area in this particular case.
