Lesser tuberosity avulsion

Fall on ground - 1 day. Shoulder pain - weakness. O/E - Subscapularis weak.

Patient Data

Age: about 50 yrs
Gender: Male

Radiograph - True AP  ( AP oblique ) standing view - A bone density is noted overlying gleno-humeral joint.  A lucency is noted in humerus - donor site.


US - Defect at lesser tuberosity / subscapularis insertion site. Retracted bone flake could not be localized due to retraction under coracoid.

MR - done later to check retraction and  subscapularis tendon ( Not uploaded, no copy right ).
