Info

The ligamentum teres of the right hip joint appears thickened, irregular, and demonstrates increased signal intensity on PDFS and T2W sequences, with loss of the smooth contour. A small amount of joint effusion in the right hip is also noted.

Incidental findings of IUCD within the bulky anteverted uterus with hydrometra.

Case Discussion

The imaging and clinical findings are consistent with ligamentum teres injury, likely a partial tear.

The patient was treated conservatively with rest, cessation of resistance band exercises, and the use of NSAIDs for pain relief and anti-inflammation, with good response. Clinical symptoms improved.
