There is a well-defined horizontal abrupt arrest of the biliary tree at the level of the biliary confluence causing moderate dilatation of the upstream intra-hepatic biliary ducts.
A linear material is seen at the same level in keeping with a surgical clip.
Case Discussion
History of laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Clinical presentation and MRI findings are reflective of a Strasberg type E (Bismuth-Corlette type 4) bile duct injury/ligation.
