A well defined homogeneously enhancing ectopic thyroid gland seen anterior and inferior to the hyoid bone, showing well defined non-enhancing hypoattenuating nodule. No thyroid tissue at the normal thyroid bed.

An ectopic thyroid gland is one which is located in a location other than the normal position anterior to the laryngeal cartilages.
