Lipohaemarthrosis: right shoulder

Transverse fracture of the proximal humeral shaft, avulsion of the greater tuberosity and the fat/blood level.

Case Discussion

Lipohaemarthrosis of the shoulder is much less common than of the knee. It denotes an intra-articular fracture.
