There is a large knee joint effusion with extensive synovial proliferation throughout the knee joint, most pronounced within the suprapatellar bursa.
Many of the synovial fronds demonstrate T1 hyperintensity which suppresses on fat-saturation sequence. Features are consistent with lipoma arborescens.
Cartilaginous and meniscal degenerative changes are also present.
