Swelling in proximal medial arm - Few months

Patient Data

Age: about 60 yrs
Gender: Female

Well-defined ovoid lesion is seen in region of interest :

  • Size : 10 x 5 x 4 centimeter
  • Location : medial upper arm .Intermuscular plane. Seperate from bone and muscle. Deep and medial to axillary and brachial vessles
  • Morphology : Solid with linear internal strands.  NO calcification / cystic changes. Compressible.  
  • Doppler : Few doppler signals noted in lesion.     

Gross pathological sample.
