A round circumscribed radiolucent mass of about 1 cm , surrounded by a radio-opaque thin capsule, is identified in the retroareolar region of the left breast.
Case Discussion
The mammographic radiolucent image is compatible with a breast lipoma (BIRADS category 2, benign).
Since its small size, the excision is not necessary.
