Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Swelling - left fronto-temporal region - about 7 - 8 yrs.

Patient Data

Age: about 40 -45 yrs
Gender: Male
x-ray

Soft tissue swelling is noted in left fronto-temporal region.

ultrasound

An ovoid lesion is seen in region of interest.

Margin        - Well-defined

Size           -  about  38 x 35 x 12 mm

Location     - in soft tissue of scalp.
                 - out side skull vault
.                - No erosion of skull vault is noted.
                 -  Abuts temporalis muscle.
                  
Nearby vessel -  a small caliber vein overlies the lesion. 

Morphology -  hypoechoic to adjacent subcutanoeus fat
                  -  Linear incomplete internal striations present
                 - NO calcification / cystic changes.
                 - compressible.
        
Doppler     - No Flow signals
