Painful foot.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Left foot radiographs

There is dislocation of the tarsometatarsal articulation in keeping with an homo-lateral Lisfranc deformity. 

Case Discussion

The Lisfranc deformity is commonly encountered following major foot trauma and in those parents with diabetic neuropathy.

CT of the foot is often indicated to clarify the abnormal findings and is usually indicated prior to surgical fixation of a post-traumatic injury.
