There is a step in the alignment of the 2nd metatarsal and intermediate cuneiform with mild widening between the bases of the 1st and 2nd metatarsals.
Incidentally, there is thickening of the second metatarsal cortex - the cause or significance of this is not known.
Case Discussion
Lisfranc injury was subsequently confirmed on further imaging and the patient underwent operative management.
